Gary Kamens

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over thirty years of experience treating adults, adolescents, and older children. I provide individual, couples and family counseling.

My clinical background includes providing treatment for problems related to marital/relationship, anxiety and depression, chemical dependency, grief and loss. I also assist individuals in coping with life transitions such as relocating to a new area, change in job or school, change in family, and separation/divorce. I work with older children and adolescents who are having behavioral or adjustment issues.

My goal is to provide a safe and caring environment in which it is easy to open up and explore issues that are relevant to the difficulty at hand. I believe in each person’s uniqueness; in each person there are strengths that may or may not be realized. My goal is to tap into the strengths and provide the tools so that each individual is able to achieve the best quality of happiness in his or her life.
